AEV’s Crestone DualSport Wheel is the most adaptable wheel they’ve ever made. The Crestone is a dual-purpose wheel that comes with a fully working Beadlock Ring for running very low tyre pressure off-road, a Protection Ring for street use and off-road wheel protection, or no ring for a basic, minimalist aesthetic. Both the Beadlock and Protection Rings are interchangeable, allowing you to run a Protection Ring on the street while also upgrading to a functioning Beadlock Ring for off-road use.

The Crestone wheel from AEV is presently only available in painted Onyx. Beadlock/Protection rings come in two finishes: painted Silver or Onyx.

Configuration Options That Are Available:

• No Ring – For a clean, minimalist design, the Crestone wheel may be mounted without a ring. Optional Hardware Kit to complete the wheel’s appearance when no rings are used.
• Protection Ring – The Protection Ring is a non-functional cast aluminum ring that serves as a sacrificial element to shield the wheel from trail scratches while also resembling the Beadlock Ring in appearance. Grade 8.8 hardware is used in the Protection Ring.
• Beadlock Ring – The Beadlock Ring has a 16mm thick forged aluminum Beadlock ring and special Grade 10.9 metric hardware for greater shear strength and higher torque needs. Beadlock Rings should only be utilized off-road, according to AEV.
