The AEV Colorado Jack Base adds 3-1/2 inches of lift height to Colorado’s standard bottle jack, enabling easy and stable tire changes up to 35 inches. Many people don’t understand until it’s too late that the stock jack will not work to securely replace larger tires (even a 33″ tall tyre), leaving them stuck on the side of the road or, worse, on the trail.
When utilizing the factory jack or even a Hi-Lift jack in off-road or soft soil situations, the Colorado Jack Base offers a considerable 10.5′′ broad footprint to give superior stability. It may also be used as a wheel chock to keep a disabled car or trailer from rolling away. The Jack Base may be folded away when not in use.
When not in use, the Jack Base stows neatly into Colorado’s under-seat rear storage compartment found in both extended and crew cab models.
