Ram Katla Wheel

The Katla was inspired by AEV’s iconic Savegre wheel for the JK Wrangler but was converted for use on 3/4 and 1-ton Ram pickups. This tried-and-true design is not only attractive, but it can also sustain exceptionally large loads. Recessed valve stems, a trademark feature of AEV, give further protection from pebbles and other trail hazards. The 178.5 Katla has Ram-specific backspacing for optimum fitment with or without original fender flares when running up to a 37″ tyre. Customers who are using AEV’s Highmark Fender Flares with 40′′ tyres will need the 1710 fitting.

*Keep in mind that the tyre size listed on the sidewall of a tyre is simply a rough estimate of its size and may not be accurate. Larger tyres may rub fenders, chassis, and control arms during steering and/or suspension movement, while smaller tyres may rub fenders, chassis, and control arms.

Please note: Powder coating aluminum wheels is not recommended by AEV as a general safety measure. The powder coating process’ heat range and duration may overlap with the heat treatment and ageing of cast or forged aluminum wheels. As a result, AEV’s lifetime structural warranty does not apply to powder-coated wheels. All colour changes and/or repairs should be done with automotive liquid paint.
